Results of Election
Nominations for the four available positions on the new Occupational Therapy Board closed on 21 June 2006. A total of four nominations were received and accepted by the State Electoral Office and it was therefore not necessary to hold an election for the four available positions. Notification of this result has been provided to the Minister for Health by the State Electoral Office, and the results were also published in The Advertiser (under Public Notices) on Monday 26 June 2006.
Human Services Finder Update
As you may be aware, the Department of Health created a service directory last year "the Human Services Finder" which is a free Internet-based directory available to the public. This directory allows providers and the public to quickly locate health and other community services in their area.
The Department are seeking to update the Finder and in particular would like to include information on occupational therapy practices.
